Vox, Guitar, Keys
Luke is Different Wavelength's unique and dynamic lead singer. He can be a "Jaggeresk" frontman one minute, Jon Lord the next and then Keith Richards on Guitar – like Forest Gump's Chocolates you’ll never know what you’ll get next! Luke joined Different Wavelengths after previously touring with Boot-Led-Zeppelin for 14 years, and brings strong and dynamic vocals together with a fabulous stage performance.

Bass Guitar
Not just Bass... Rob started learning classical piano at 9 and then trombone from 13. He joined the army as a trombonist for 10 years (gigging and drinking around the UK and Europe through most of it!). He started teaching himself bass in the more sober moments, and has played everything from orchestral to military and dance bands. After leaving the army the bass took over, and he has been playing mostly rock and blues. Rob joined Different Wavelengths in August 2022 and the band are looking forward to making use of his wide variety of talents.

Drums
Every band needs a powerful drummist to keep things moving and the audience grooving. Timb ‘ali’ Shakur has been bashing drums in the style of Jeff Porcaro, Dave Weckl and Steve Gadd (who later went on to kill Porcaro) since the early 90s. One day Timb hopes to hit them in time with the music but for now, as long as the police know he’s behind a kit by way of a GPS ankle tag connected to his bass drum pedal, Banbury residents can breathe a sigh of relief most Saturdays.
